Which Eldora Product Is In The Cruelty Free Beauty Box?

We chose one of our best-selling false eyelashes to feature in the Kinder Beauty Box; H171 Human Hair False Lashes. These strip lashes have a clear band, are handmade from human hair and are of course vegan-friendly and cruelty free - the perfect place to start if you’re new to Eldora and our products. Anyone receiving these within the beauty box will also get some vegan Eldora False Lash Adhesive included too, so you can try them straight away!

The February box has sold out now, but don’t worry - you can still buy the eyelashes direct from our website.

What Are Human Hair Lashes?

Human hair false lashes do exactly what they say on the tin. There are lots of imitation hair lashes out there, but many customers want the real thing to achieve the most natural look possible.

How Are Human Hair Lashes Made?

We totally get it; with all those horror stories out there (some sadly true), we want to know where our human hair comes from too and how our human hair is manufactured. Our factory buys the hair and then disinfects it thoroughly before making it in to beautiful Eldora False Lashes. You can read about how this process is done on our FAQs page.

Is Human Hair Vegan?

Good question! Agreeing to put this Eldora product in the Kinder Beauty Box got customers (and us) thinking. Is human hair vegan? Are human hair lashes cruelty free? Is it ok to wear human hair false eyelashes if you’re a vegan?

Kinder Beauty Box agree that all Eldora products are cruelty-free, animal-free, ethically sourced/made, and vegan. Lots of vegans buy our products, and there are many other vegan brands out there that use human hair too.

What Do The Vegan Society Say?

If you take a look at the definition of a ‘vegan’ on The Vegan Society website, we tick all the boxes, so are confident that all of our products are 100% vegan, even the ones made from human hair.

‘Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude (as far as possible and practicable) all forms of exploitation of and cruelty to animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. There are many ways to embrace vegan living. One thing all vegans have in common is a plant-based diet avoiding all animal foods such as meat, fish, insects, dairy, eggs and honey; as well as products like leather and anything tested on animals.’

We love animals, which is why we chose to use human hair for some of our lashes, instead of any animal furs, feathers or silk. We feel that this is a much better option and can assure you that our human hair is sourced ethically and legally. We respect everyone’s opinions and understand that when it comes to animal welfare, people understandably have strong opinions on this. Based on definition on The Vegan Society website; we’re happy to confirm that all of our products remain 100% vegan.
